Additional internship opportunities may be available on request, including placements in sports sciences, business, social work, and related professional fields, depending on student background and availability.

These placements allow students to engage with the local community while gaining practical experience in social support environments. Opportunities may include working with children at risk of social exclusion, supporting elderly care programs, assisting individuals with disabilities, or contributing to community outreach initiatives. Some placements require Spanish language ability.

Interns observe and assist professionals working with children aged 0–3 who require developmental support and early intervention services. The center provides a multidisciplinary environment where students gain insight into therapeutic and educational approaches for early childhood development. An FBI background check is required.

Students complete a supervised teaching placement at a local school in Valencia. Participants assist teachers, observe classroom methods, and engage in daily school activities while gaining insight into the Spanish education system. Each student works with a school tutor who provides guidance and support throughout the placement. Spanish fluency is not required, though an FBI background check is required.

Placements involve field or laboratory work related to marine biology, conservation, and environmental monitoring. The experience provides hands-on exposure to applied research and professional marine science practice. Diving certification is required, though students may obtain certification during the program.
