    COURSE CODE

    CODE1110

Computational Design Theory 1 addresses architecture’s digital turn and introduces you to historical and contemporary discourses. It explores theoretical concepts and ideas through architectural projects that have engaged digital technologies and computational design thinking from the late twentieth century onwards. You will develop skills in verbal, visual, and written modes of analysis. You will critically evaluate discourses and architectural projects relating to digital and computational design technologies. You will also develop your verbal and digital communication skills to present computational knowledge and analysis.

    Mechanical Engineering

    COURSE CODE

    MECH4620

Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is now progressively becoming more accessible to graduate engineers for research and development as well as design-oriented tasks in industry. Mastery of CFD in handling complex flow and heat industrial problems is becoming ever more important. Competency in such a skill certainly brings about a steep learning curve for practicing engineers, who constantly face extreme challenges to come up with solutions to fluid flow and heat transfer problems without a priori knowledge of the basic concepts and fundamental understanding of fluid mechanics and heat transfer.

Mira

Bryant University

"I’m so beyond thankful for Hop! Studying abroad can be overwhelming at times, but having this program made all the difference for me. It gave me the chance to meet so many amazing people who turned into real friends, try so many new things, and feel genuinely supported while navigating life in a new country.

From the Byron Bay orientation to our trip to the zoo, every moment felt so special. Cairns was unforgettable, especially seeing the Great Barrier Reef in person, and exploring Melbourne (plus going to an AFL game!) was such a highlight.

What really stood out to me was the support system Hop created. Having people constantly looking out for you made everything feel less scary and so much more meaningful.

My study abroad experience truly would not have been the same without Hop. I’m so grateful for every memory, every person, and every opportunity it gave me."

Walter

Michigan State University

"Growing up, I was a huge fan of Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter. He inspired me a lot to get into my major and study wildlife. Australia is about as wild as it gets. Right now, I am living the best life."

Gabby

University of Florida

“Studying abroad with Hop has truly been the best decision I have ever made. In a short amount of time, I have explored the lively rainforests and the shimmering Great Barrier Reef. I've climbed mountains, sat at the edge of waterfalls, and even surfed the waves of the Gold Coast. I've met so many new friends from different backgrounds who unite on the same goal of discovering and learning, and I couldn’t have done that without Hop.”
