To meet the demands of today’s competitive marketplace, enterprise processes must be sustainable, lean and customer focussed. This course looks at ways in which business processes can be analysed, redesigned, and improved thus ensuring that they are meeting the needs of customers and the enterprise. A business process is a set of related activities that jointly realise a business goal in an organisational and technical environment. These processes take place in a single organisation but may need to interact with processes in other organisations. Business Process Management (BPM) is concerned with the concepts, methods, and techniques that support the design, improvement, management, configuration, enactment, and analysis of business processes that deliver sustainable, lean and customer focused business processes. BPM includes process modelling that explicitly represents processes – once they are defined, processes can be analysed, improved, and enacted. Software in the form of business process management systems can be used to manage business process.

Mira

Bryant University

"I’m so beyond thankful for Hop! Studying abroad can be overwhelming at times, but having this program made all the difference for me. It gave me the chance to meet so many amazing people who turned into real friends, try so many new things, and feel genuinely supported while navigating life in a new country.

From the Byron Bay orientation to our trip to the zoo, every moment felt so special. Cairns was unforgettable, especially seeing the Great Barrier Reef in person, and exploring Melbourne (plus going to an AFL game!) was such a highlight.

What really stood out to me was the support system Hop created. Having people constantly looking out for you made everything feel less scary and so much more meaningful.

My study abroad experience truly would not have been the same without Hop. I’m so grateful for every memory, every person, and every opportunity it gave me."

Walter

Michigan State University

"Growing up, I was a huge fan of Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter. He inspired me a lot to get into my major and study wildlife. Australia is about as wild as it gets. Right now, I am living the best life."

Gabby

University of Florida

“Studying abroad with Hop has truly been the best decision I have ever made. In a short amount of time, I have explored the lively rainforests and the shimmering Great Barrier Reef. I've climbed mountains, sat at the edge of waterfalls, and even surfed the waves of the Gold Coast. I've met so many new friends from different backgrounds who unite on the same goal of discovering and learning, and I couldn’t have done that without Hop.”
