The study activities develop communicative competency through emphasis on the understanding of written and oral texts and spoken and written production. The main themes of the course cover study specific area and are related to the cultural context of French speaking countries. The study material consists mainly of academic and media texts. Important emphasis is on the development of argumentative skills and the development of the capacity to see problems from another perspective. Special attention is brought on the vocabulary. Grammar is studied in context. Written production consists of writing descriptive and argumentative texts, also oral skills are developed. Emphasis is on promoting collaboration between students.TERM

To be eligible for a Hop Education Abroad program, students must be currently enrolled at a degree-granting college or university, have completed at least one year of their undergraduate studies prior to departure, and be in good academic standing at their home institution.
We do not have a set GPA requirement to participate in our programs—we believe in making global experiences as accessible as possible. However, some of our international university partners or your home institution may set their own academic eligibility criteria.
Tallinn University requires good academic standing and approval from your home institution. There is no minimum GPA.
