Bond's four faculties—Business, Law, Health Sciences and Medicine, and Society & Design—provide courses in fields ranging from Business and Law to Communication and Film Studies, all accredited to high standards, such as the AACSB accreditation for the Business Faculty. During your study abroad semester at Bond University, you'll be immersed in a full-time academic schedule, enrolling in three to four subjects across diverse disciplines. Whether you choose a concentrated area of study or a mix of various subjects, each course typically requires three to four hours of classroom time per week, including lectures, tutorials, seminars and labs.

This subject is an introduction to programming. There is a focus on writing computer code to solve problems in business, which promotes the development of problem-solving skills. The necessary foundation concepts are covered, including expressions, variables, data structures, control structures, functions, commenting and debugging. Although it can be taken as a stand-alone subject, it is specifically designed for students interested in future study in data science and big data analytics. Two widely popular programming languages for data science, R and Python, will be used as vehicles for learning programming. Cutting-edge R and Python packages used by data scientists will be covered in this subject. Prior coding knowledge and experience is not a requirement for this subject.TERM

It explores a range of social marketing strategies and techniques for changing attitudes and behaviours, as well as the use of promotional communication and innovation to deliver goods, ideas, and service products for positive social outcomes. In addition to learning and applying social marketing skills, this subject also encourages you to develop a realistic and – at times – critical perspective on the increasing entanglement of commercial interests and the social good by critically evaluating concepts like Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), brand activism and related private-sector approaches to changing peoples’ behaviour ‘for the better’.TERM

To be eligible for a Hop Education Abroad program, students must be currently enrolled at a degree-granting college or university, have completed at least one year of their undergraduate studies prior to departure, and be in good academic standing at their home institution.
We do not have a set GPA requirement to participate in our programs—we believe in making global experiences as accessible as possible. However, some of our international university partners or your home institution may set their own academic eligibility criteria.
Bond University has a minimum GPA requirement of 2.5.
