    Although essential legal frameworks are in place, current times have brought several significant challenges to the protection of human rights both globally and in Europe. The summer school will address some of the most topical issues in this context, including but not limited to the protection of human rights in armed conflicts, the accession of the EU to the European Convention on Human Rights, the right to asylum versus national security, the human rights implications of AI systems and algorithmic decision-making, etc, while providing a space to develop and foster your critical thinking and argumentation skills through the Debate Academy.
